Silly putty could server several different purposes from sealing the receiver from dirt, dust and moisture to insolating and holding car wiring in place. Silly putty works wonders as a different lock, helps make custom chassis and helps to mould out parts that need to fit in every time. Simply thin a layer of silly putty lay it down and press which piece needs to be fit into the putty, then lifting the piece off will leave an impression of the part and its bolts patterns. Then punch out the center and drill, the part will fit perfectly, every time.
Until a replacement screw can be found, a simple small piece of a zip-tie down the hole of a stripped plastic part will hold the screw in place.
If you are looking for increased runtime of your petrol remote control car, a simple trick is to charge them multiple times. Simply place your remote control car on a charger and then take it off the plug two to three times, this might give you a better running time because the battery gets charged over again; however, do not do this more then a few times because this might be deadly to the battery life.
